Here's everything you need to know about where he's been and when he's coming back…
Where has Phil Mitchell been in EastEnders?
Phil Mitchell – played by Walford veteran Steve McFadden – has spent the past couple of months in sunny Spain working on some kind of business deal.
He jetted of off to sunnier climes at the beginning of September just as things were starting to hot up between wife Sharon and Phil’s mechanic Keanu.
We’re not quite sure what Phil’s been getting up to over on the Costa del Sol, but we’d bet our last quid that it’s something dodgy.
He told Sharon adios at the end of August, informing her that he was heading off alone after she spotted a booking to Alicante on his computer and assumed he was whisking her away for a holiday.
But Sharon didn’t waste too much time nursing a broken heart as she jumped pretty much straight into the arms of hunky nineteen-year-old Keanu – played by Danny Walters.
When is Phil Mitchell returning to EastEnders?
It’s been announced that Phil will be returning to Walford on November 22, 2018 which doesn’t give Keanu and Sharon too much time to get their stories straight.
Spoilers for the week have revealed that Phil plans to surprise Sharon by turning up in Walford unannounced.
But with Sharon and Keanu still very much in each other's lives, it could be Phil that ends up getting the surprise.
As we all know affairs don’t generally go undiscovered in Soap Land.
Sharon and Keanu, or Sheanu as they’ve been nicknamed by fans, have already had a few close calls with Keanu’s mum Karen Taylor spotting them mid romp and Phil's daughter Louise receiving a voicemail of the pair having sex.
Sharon was somehow able to talk her way out of that by convincing Louise that Keanu was just putting her through her paces with a personal training session.
Spoilers for next week reveal Sheanu are unable to keep their hands off of each other next week and end up back in bed together at Sharon’s place.
But unknown to her, her hubby is about to make his big comeback.
So will he catch them at it? Let’s hope not for Keanu’s sake. We like looking at his pretty face just the way it is.
