STAR actress Maya Hawke went down a career path that follows in the footsteps of her famous parents.
Stranger Things and Once Upon A Time in Hollywood actress Maya is one of two children born from the former marriage between Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke.
Who are Maya Hawke's parents?
On July 8, 1998, Maya Hawke was born to Pulp Fiction star Uma Thurman and Moon Knight actor Ethan Hawke.
Although Uma and Ethan divorced in August 2005, they continued to raise Maya and her younger brother Levon in New York City.
In addition to her Levon, she has three more siblings from both of her parents' later marriages.
From her mother's former relationship with financier Arpad Busson, she has a younger sister named Luna.

When it comes to Maya and her Hollywood career, she revealed how her parents felt about her taking up acting as a profession, just like they did.
The Little Women star told The Guardian: "They were wary of the public life side of acting and the difficulties of that.
"They also tried to protect me from falling into acting."

She further shared: "They wanted to ensure I had a strong enough backbone, my own passion for it, and work ethic.
"They didn’t want to cart me along every red carpet or have me do bit-parts in their movies."
Maya added: "Once I was old enough, and it was clear they were my choices, they were very supportive.
When asked about her favorite movie roles that she's seen her famous parents in, she said: "It’s funny, I haven’t seen them all.
"Sometimes you don’t really want to watch your mom getting shot or your dad go through painful emotions, even though you know it’s pretend."
She went on to say: "So mostly I only watch the happy ones.
"One of my favorite movies of my mom’s is The Producers, where she’s dancing around being fabulous.
"That’s much more fun to see than John Travolta jamming a needle into her heart."

In February 2022, Maya went public with her romance with New York-based musician Spencer Barnett.
Spencer is the son of Shaklee Corporation CEO Roger Barnett and best-selling lawyer-turned-author Sloan Barnett.
