DANCING On Ice has been thrilling fans since it first aired back in 2006.
Over the years, the professional skaters line-up has changed, and the 2024 series welcomes Simon Senecal onto the show.
Who is Simon Senecal and how many skating competitions has she won?
Born in Canada on December 6, 1991, Simon Senecal is an ice dancer who competes with Tina Garabedian for Armenia.
He switched from ice hockey to figure skating when he was seven-years-old and teamed up with his first partner at age twelve.
Competing with Josyane Cholette, he placed 11th in junior ice dancing at both the 2011 and 2012 Canadian Championships.
He and Christina Penkov were 15th on the junior level at the 2013 Canadian Championships.

During the next two seasons, Simon competed with Mélissande Dumas on the senior level. They finished 11th at the 2014 Canadian Championships and 12th in 2015.
In 2015, he teamed up with Tina Garabedian, and they started to compete together.
That same year they became the Golden Spin of Zagreb bronze medalists and reached the free dance at two European Championships (2016 and 2017).
In October 2023, it was revealed that Simon had joined Dancing On Ice as one of the professional skaters.

On Instagram he has shared pictures of a man believed to be his partner.
Although Simon hasn't disclosed his man's name, he often shares their exotic trips abroad.
