JESSICA Plummer swapped the streets of Walford for the Welsh wilderness as she took part in the 2020 series of I'm A Celebrity.
Now, she is starring in new JP Delaney adaptation The Girl Before, opposite fellow Eastenders alum Ben Hardy.
Who is Jessica Plummer?
Jessica Plummer was born in London on September 16, 1992.
She was in a British girl group called Neon Jungle. Their debut single Trouble entered the British charts at No12 back in August 2013.
The group supported Jessie J on tour in October of that year and also performed alongside Taylor Swift at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
The group split in July 2015.
Jessica starred in the movie How To Talk To Girls At Parties alongside Ruth Wilson, Nicole Kidman and Matt Lucas.
She also appeared in TV show Wizards vs Aliens as Chloe Martin in 2013.
After leaving Eastenders in 2020, Jessica took part in I'm a Celebrity in its first iteration at Gwrych Castle, Wales. She came seventh, with Giovanna Fletcher being named Queen of the Castle.
Now, Jessica is starring opposite Ben Hardy, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and David Oyelowo in the BBC drama The Girl Before.
Who did Jessica Plummer play in EastEnders?
Jessica Plummer played Chantelle Taylor in EastEnders from March 2019 until September 2020.
Her character was the daughter of Mitch Baker and Karen Taylor.
She was Keegan Baker’s full sister and half sister to Karen’s other kids, Bernadette, Keanu, Chatham and Riley.
Fans were heartbroken when the long-suffering character was killed by her abusive husband Gray Atkins.
He pushed her on to an upturned knife in the dishwasher – and watched as she died.
EastEnders viewers had been left horrified by Gray Atkins’ vicious attacks on his wife over the years.
Who is Jessica Plummer dating?
Recent reports have suggested Jessica is dating her The Girl Before co-star Ben Hardy, with whom she acted in Eastenders.
After The Sun revealed the pair had grown close during filming, their romance was confirmed when they were pictured kissing in London.
Before that, Jessica was in a relationship with her "childhood sweetheart" 'Jaz' with whom she shares a daughter, Noa.
Back in June 2016 she announced she was pregnant with her first child, daughter Noa Lily, writing: "THANK YOU. Honestly means the world. Jaz and I are over the moon.
“Couldn't be happier to be starting a family with my childhood sweetheart.”
