Lady Gaga, Kiki Layne, Emily Blunt, and other A-list celebrities might have wowed the Golden Globes 2019 red carpet, but no one did it quite like the Fiji Water girl. As some of Hollywood’s most elite members posed for photographers, the Fiji water girl posed a little to the right (and sometimes the left) with a sultry side glance in a very on-brand blue ballgown. But, who is the Fiji water girl? We find out, ahead.

Who is the Fiji water girl?
The Fiji Water girl is a phenomenon we can only hope will continue for the rest of the 2019 award season. On Sunday, as stars posed for photo opportunities and interviews alike, Kelleth Cuthbert (aka, the Fiji Water girl) had a different agenda — to photobomb as many celebrities as possible in the name of genius advertising. Her efforts, of course, went viral and now everyone wants to know: Who is the Fiji Water girl? Here’s what we know about the Golden Globes star.
She works as a commercial actress and model
The Golden Globes red carpet was congested with actresses and models — the Fiji Water girl included. According to People, Kelleth Cuthbert works as a commercial actress and fashion model, which explains why she was so good at posing for the camera.

She apparently wasn’t trying to steal the spotlight
Many believe Kelleth Cuthbert’s efforts were all a publicity stunt on behalf of the bottled water brand. However, she claims she wasn’t trying to steal the spotlight. “There’s tons of photographers everywhere. It doesn’t matter where you stand, you’re in the crossfire of every shot,” she told People. “You’ve gotta have good face, at least, if you’re gonna be hovering in the background frequently,” she noted. She also said “looking at the camera at the right time” played a huge part in her viral photobombs.
She had no idea how famous her photobomb skills made her until after the red carpet
Kelleth Cuthbert was easily one of the most talked about “celebrities” of the evening — and she had no idea she had gained any sort of attention. “I had absolutely no idea what was happening because I obviously didn’t have my phone on me,” she told People, as she described the social media frenzy she faced once her work was complete.
Fiji Water appreciates her efforts (and ominous facial expressions)
After going viral, Fiji Water clearly loves Kelleth Cuthbert’s work. The brand took to Twitter to join in on the meme fun, but not before addressing everyone’s excitement over her presence. “We’re so glad everyone is talking about our water! *senses ominous presence* She’s right behind us, isn’t she? #FIJIwatergirl,” the brand posted on Sunday night.
She’s already the biggest meme of 2019
We might only be a week into 2019, but the Fiji Water girl is already a top contender for the biggest meme of the year. The internet can’t get over the Fiji Water girl and, quite frankly, we can’t either.
