Jefferson White, 34, is best known as young wrangler Jimmy Hurdstrom in the first four seasons of Yellowstone. His time on the hit Paramount drama may have come to an end at the start of this year, but he might have found a new home over on the upcoming 6666 spin-off. Unfortunately, the actor had to take to his Instagram account this week with a distressing update.

The Yellowstone regular issued a warning to his followers after some of his fans claimed they had received emails from an impersonator.

On Tuesday, he posted a new video on his Instagram Stories to explain the upsetting situation.

Jefferson explained: “Hey, a bunch of people been telling me they’re getting an email from a fake me.

“So I’m sorry if you get an email, I didn’t send it to you.”

Meanwhile, Jefferson was thankfully still able to keep it light whilst he addressed his latest technical woes.

He joked: “Unless you want to give me your social security number? Just kidding.

“It’s not me, don’t respond,” the actor clarified. “And I’m sorry.

“I don’t know what to do about it. What do I look like, some kind of nerd?”

Jefferson has yet to give an update on the situation, but now the actor’s 209k followers can at least stay vigilant for scam emails.

Hopefully, the Yellowstone star can find a solution soon, but until now he can only warn his followers and contacts to remain on the lookout for scams.

“I am a nerd, but I still don’t know what to do,” he admitted.

The actor has remained one of the most endearing elements of the gritty Western drama since Yellowstone began on the Paramount Network in 2018.

However, after four years as the face of the Dutton bunkhouse, he departed the ranch to begin a new life with his fiancée Emily (Kathryn Kelly).

His role in the series is now unclear, though he’s expected to form part of the cast of an upcoming spin-off centred around the Sixes Ranch in Texas.

In the meantime, the small screen cowboy has been keeping viewers entertained with some behind-the-scenes footage from the set of Yellowstone season four.

He captioned his latest reel: “Shot some more Super 8 on my last day of @yellowstone season 4.

“Can’t thank you enough for your kind words and generosity these last 10 weeks.

“We get to do this because of you and your energy and enthusiasm and I’ll always be grateful for the opportunity.”

Jimmy’s debts with John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner) may have been cleared, but fans are still keeping their fingers crossed he’ll find himself back on the ranch eventually.

Yellowstone seasons 1-4 are available to stream on the Paramount Network in the USA now. A UK release date is yet to be announced.
