Is there anything eagle-eyed viewers of Game of Thrones can’t spot? Water bottles, coffee cups, what have you. But there’s one post on the fan Subreddit r/gameofthrones that’s quickly gaining traction, and for once, it’s not a goof!

An old Extra TV interview from June 2017 has just resurfaced, with host Mario Lopez interviewing Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) on who they thought would ultimately be crowned in the game of thrones.

While Nikolaj placed his bets on either Dany or the Night King, Gwendoline (who spoke right after Nikolaj) calmly and coolly guessed Bran.

As for why? She said she thought the ultimate winner would be someone out of left field. “Those [Dany and the Night King] are the obvious choices, and what we know about the show is that it constantly surprises you, so I’m wondering if it might be Bran.”

Cue Mario and Nikolaj being like, Wut.

Continuing on, Gwendoline explained, “We keep seeing the world from his perspective, we keep seeing the visions, so is he in the future—”

At this point, Nikolaj cut her off. “The Three-Eyed Raven? Huh. No, it doesn’t make sense.”

And that’s when Gwendoline, aka Brienne of motherfucking Tarth, stood her ground and unblinkingly showed the world that she was fucking ON IT all along.

The way she calmly explained time travel, the way she coolly stood by her theory, I STAN IT ALL. BRIENNE FOR FUCKING EVER.

Anyway, here’s Nikolaj before and after his mind was blown when Gwendoline confirmed that her theory meant Bran made Jaime push him out of the window.

And because I’m still depressed the show is over, here are 14 minutes of Gwendoline and Nikolaj interviews so I can live inside the fantasy of Brienne and Jaime forever (again, ty, Reddit).
