A Spanish man who had previously been presumed dead unexpectedly regained consciousness, much to the surprise of everyone present.
Last Friday, emergency personnel and a forensic doctor were dispatched to a property in Valencia’s centre, spurred by a concerned neighbour who had not received any answer or signs of life from a fellow tenant in the same building for several days.
The responders decided to enter the person’s home to check on their well-being.
According to the Levante-EMV daily, a team of police officers, firefighters, and medical staff arrived at the site to determine whether the neighbour was still alive or not.

When they entered the house, they located the person lying on the floor.
First responders said there were no detectable vital signs.
As a result, the professionals contacted the appropriate authorities to formally certify the presumed death.

The body was later removed and the man’s remains were taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an official autopsy.
However, the neighbour unexpectedly recovered consciousness, contrary to expectations.
This unexpected resurrection caused astonishment and shock among all present, who had previously assumed the person was dead.
