A BIZARRE brawl erupted in Aldi yesterday – with raging shoppers seen hurling rolls of Christmas wrapping at each other.

The odd festive fight was said to have unfolded in London's Hounslow store this week, with staff spotted desperately trying to break it up.


A video shows dozens of people trying to intervene in what was said to have started as a screaming match between two women.

But it seemed to quickly turn ugly – with the masses getting involved.

In the clip shared to X, formally Twitter, Aldi staff can be seen trying to calm two groups.

As they stand in between the raging shoppers, Christmas wrapping paper and other festive goods can be seen flying across the store.

A trolly appears to be being used as a barrier to split the groups.

The fuming shoppers can be heard yelling as they hurled whatever they could get their hands on at one another.

People on social media were quick to rush to the comments, throwing jokes at the situation.

One wrote: "Yep, it's time to start your Christmas shopping now."

The Sun has approached Met Police and Aldi for comment on the matter.

It comes just weeks after a brawl broke out at a major shopping centre in front of hundreds of scared shoppers.

A gang of up to 15 aggressive youngsters were witnessed throwing punches and kicks at the popular Bluewater Shopping centre, in Kent.

In the frightening footage filmed on Sunday, August 20, and posted on X/Twitter, several smaller fights can be seen as the yobs brawl in groups of three or four.

Amid the sea of scrimmaging tracksuits, shouting and swearing were heard by horrified onlookers.

Kent Police confirmed they responded to calls at around 3.45pm and one man was arrested on suspicion of assault, a public order offence, and possession of a bladed article.
