An Abu Dhabi Grand Prix party descended into chaos at the weekend when a mass brawl broke out that saw boozed up guests fling bottles at each other.

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen was crowned Formula 1 World Champion in what was a record-breaking year for the Dutchman, with his 19th win of the season.

But fans’ celebrations over the weekend appeared to get out of hand, with security having to intervene as partygoers became embroiled in a dramatic fight at the Yas Marina Circuit – the $1.3 billion track which hosted the race.

Shocking footage appears to show revellers scrapping at an exclusive event being hosted on a balcony overlooking the course, which was decked out with Red Bull-branded parasols.

The showdown saw groups of F1 fans, some of whom are believed to be British, battering each other with alcohol bottles and clambering over furniture to take a swipe at each other.

Chaotic scenes unfolded at what appeared to be an afterparty at the Yas Marina Circuit

With multiple videos showing chaotic scenes at what appears to be a race afterparty, it is unclear whether multiple small fights broke out or whether they were linked.

An X user, who shared footage claiming he attended the event, said on the platform that those involved were from the UK, joking: ‘Can’t take the British no where can ye’.

At the beginning of one clip of the incident, a woman is seen yelling at a group of men who were trying to get past her, separated only by a member of security staff.

Another woman puts her arm around one man’s neck as she desperately tries to pull him back and stop him from getting involved.

Horrified and bemused attendees watch as the seemingly endless battle rumbles on, with more and more people joining in.

One reveller, who is wearing a red t-shirt, can be seen scrambling over the white couches to clobber another before he is pulled back. A man in a white t-shirt then comes back to strike him.

As the violence escalates, a few of the men turn to using bottles of beer and wine as weapons.

One lobs what appears to be a champagne or prosecco bottle straight at another man, while others can be seen running around also dangerously brandishing large bottles.

As security tries to hold some of the men back, red VIP cordons are knocked to the floor.

The few staff that can be seen trying to stop the tussle from worsening quickly become outnumbered.

The DJ can be heard telling gathered crowds ‘let’s go’ as he performed for the race weekend, before he suddenly realises things had turned sour.

He starts to sound increasingly worried as the aggression ramps up, urging security to go over to the table and deal with the wild behaviour.

As what seemed to begin as a disagreement spirals into violence, Kanye West’s song  ‘All of the Lights’ comes on in the background.

The song was apt as the controversial rapper was among the slew of stars attending the Grand Prix on Sunday.

The 46-year-old went to see the Formula One race unfold after sparking backlash following the release of his new single Vultures.

The hitmaker had been criticized for partying to the song alongside his collaborator Ty Dolla $ign,  Chris Brown, Bump J and others at a  party in Dubai.

In the video, the group can be seen rocking out as the controversial line ‘How I’m antisemitic? I just f****d a Jewish b***h,’ played loudly over the speakers.

Despite the recent controversy around the new song, Kanye was in high spirits as he was pictured at the race.

A string of other stars, including Naomi Campbell and Priyanka Chopra also attended the hotly-anticipated race.

Red Bull has been contacted for comment.
