Boy, 16, fighting for life on Christmas Eve after being stabbed in brutal attack

A 16-year-old boy is fighting for his life this Christmas Eve after he was stabbed multiple times in a vicious targeted attack two days before Christmas.

The teenager is in a critical condition after he was discovered with injuries to his chest and legs at an address in Preston, Lancashire, on Wednesday, December 23.

Emergency services were called to Chatham Place shortly before 5.45pm where the youngster was initially treated at the scene and later transferred to hospital.

Officers are now looking to speak to two men who were seen leaving the property after the attack.

They are both described as having their hoods up and possibly wearing tracksuit bottoms.

No arrests have been made and inquiries are ongoing.

Detective Superintendent Nick Connaughton, of Lancashire Police, said: "This incident has left a young man fighting for his life and my thoughts are very much with his family at this time.

"Our immediate priority is finding those responsible for this attack and getting them into custody.
