A 14-year-old boy is in a critical condition after being stabbed outside a Tesco supermarket in west London in an attack last night.
The schoolboy was attacked at around 6.20pm near a branch of Tesco Express on Hanworth Road, Hounslow.
Detectives and paramedics were called to the scene and the boy was taken to hospital, where remains in a critical condition, the Metropolitan Police said.

Several police cars and an ambulance attended the scene on the busy road last night.
No arrests have yet been made and a crime scene is reportedly still in place near the junction with Nelson Road.
The force said in a statement: ‘Police were called at approximately 6.25pm on November 6 to reports of a male stabbed in Hanworth Road, near the junction with Nelson Road, Hounslow.

‘Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the male, believed to be aged 14 years, was taken to hospital for treatment.
‘He remains there in a critical but stable condition.
‘No arrests have been made and inquiries into the circumstances are ongoing,’ the spokesman added.
