'Brilliant' mum-of-two, 22, found dead by broken-hearted boyfriend over Christmas as family pays tribute

A "BRILLIANT" mum-of-two was found dead by her heartbroken boyfriend just two days after Christmas.

Tributes have poured in for Silhesha Sunderland, 22, who was found dead on December 27 by her partner Marc Stott at her new home in Lancashire.

Silhesha's loved ones, who have described her as a "brilliant mother" and "one of a kind," do not yet know how she died.

Her mum Vicky said: “We don’t know how she died yet and we are just waiting on the coroner's report. Her boyfriend found her in the middle of the night and tried to resuscitate her.

“She was just so happy. She has twins who are two-and-a-half-year-old – Hugo and Aliyah – and she was a brilliant mother to them. She spoilt them rotten and she was such a kind-hearted girl.”

Silhesha had only recently moved to her new home in Horwich, near Bolton, Lancs, which Vicky said she had enjoyed decorating and organising.

In a heartbreaking tribute, her friend Abby Holt said: “We have known each other all our lives. There’s no words to describe Silhesha, she was a one of a kind.

“If you needed something she would be there and if you needed someone to speak to, she was there. She would always make anyone laugh, no matter what the situation and when she walked into the room everyone’s face lit up.

'LOVED BY EVERYONE'

“She was absolutely amazing, you’ll never get another like her.”

And Georgia Ashmore, who has set up a JustGiving page to help the family with funeral costs, said Silhesha was “loved by everyone.”

She said: “I met Silhesha in 2013 and we became the best of friends around three years ago and were inseparable.

“She was the most kind-hearted, caring, beautiful human being I have ever come across. She made an impact on everyone she met.

“Silhesha was the best mummy to her twins and she loved Marc with every bone in her body. She is so loved by everyone and will be truly missed by us all.”

Tributes have also poured in for Silhesha on Facebook, with one friend describing the mum-of-two as "the most down to earth. Beautiful, most bubbly girl inside and out" who "always had a smile".

Another wrote: "She will always be the cute, funny, giggly kid who became a fabulous mother to twins and will be missed by all who had the luck to have her in their life for however long."

Silhesha's Mum said the huge outpouring of tributes has been “lovely” and people had shared their cherished memories of Silhesha.

The JustGiving page has currently raised more than £6,000 of a £7,000 target in just two days of being active. You can donate here.
