Businessman trolled for turning near-death car accident into inspirational LinkedIn post

A businessman has been teased on Twitter for trying to use his brush with death as an opportunity to post on LinkedIn and write to Elon Musk.
Michael Finnigan described the incident with another driver as a ‘second from a head-on collision’ which could have killed both.
The founder of professional training and coaching business, Impossible 2 Inevitable, alleged he was stationary at a junction when another driver went into him.
Mr Finnigan, from Tarleton, claimed both motorists walked away ‘without a scratch’, only a sore back, hand and head.
He wrote: ‘How lucky are we? Be grateful today please…’
But in a bizarre twist of events the businessman thought the near-death experience would be the ‘perfect opportunity’ to connect with Tesla co-founder, Elon Musk.

‘Now….. ‘Dear Elon…’ Is this the perfect opportunity or what? Turn negatives into positives. Make the Impossible…Inevitable,’ wrote Mr Finnigan.

But the post on the career-orientated platform left some nothing short of confused and stunned.
One person said: ‘When you deep it. posting this on LinkedIn is crazy.’
Another chimed in: ‘I’m at the point where I think some peoples first thoughts after any incident or situation is how they’ll be able to post about it.
‘But going to LinkedIn for it is just so bizarre. I’m seeing marriage announcements and baby ones on there now. What a place.’
Another quipped: ‘Just in case they forgot to tell all of their connections that they have a Tesla.’
However, the post with 158 reactions received a very different response on LinkedIn with many unfazed by.

One peer commented: ‘Blimey! That is scary. I am so pleased you are both ok. Sending love.’
The businesses founder seems to be in good spirits since his post, according to his LinkedIn profile. It has not been confirmed if he ever did reach out to Musk.
Two days after his inspirational post he shared with the platform that he was ‘happily reunited’ with his favourite glass and bonsai tree.
