THIS is the chilling moment a paraglider plummeted 130ft to his death after spinning mid-air.
Alexandre Pereira Alves, 26, was taking part in a practice flight when he encountered a problem before plunging to the ground in a tragic crash.
The horrifying incident occurred in the area of Vila Nova in Paraiba, Brazil, on Sunday afternoon.
According to the victim’s friends, Alexandre had been practising paragliding for a couple of years.
Footage shows the paraglider appearing to be in trouble as he spins wildly in the air.
He then lands heavily on the ground with his chute apparently coming to rest over his body.

After the shocking fall, Alexandre reportedly died at the scene.
The body was taken to the Centre of Forensic Medicine and Dentistry (NUMOL) in Guarabira for an autopsy before being released to his family for burial.
Alexandre will be laid to rest at the municipal cemetery in Matureia today.
A wake was held in his honour in Campina Grande on Monday.
It is unclear if the local authorities are investigating the tragedy,
Alexandre's untimely death is not the first time a paraglider has been killed while out flying.
