The terraced house in Whitnash Grove, in eastern Coventry, could easily be a smart family home but for one major snag – the property has suffered from extensive fire damage inside.

It’s on the market with auctioneers Loveitts, which warns anyone that might be interested in the house that it is ‘requiring full refurbishment’.

Despite the extensive fire and smoke damage, the property is still a bargain compared to the average house price on the street which was £224,500 last year. Across Coventry, it appears to be an even better deal with houses selling for around £240,000 across the West Midlands city in 2022.
