A shooting early this morning in Dayton is believed to have left “multiple fatalities”, according to local media. Dayton Police Department have urged people to avoid the Oregon district of the city. They said on Twitter: “We are actively investigating an active shooter incident in the #OregonDistrict. Please avoid the area. More information to come.”

Local TV station WHIOTV7 is reporting seven fatalities, as indicated by a police scanner.

They said police are possibly hunting a second gunman who may have fled the scene.
