EVIL Lucy Letby "will be treated like royalty" by prison officers, according to a former inmate.
The sick serial killer was sentenced to a whole life order on Monday after murdering seven babies and attempting to claim the lives of six more.
Letby was convicted of seven counts of murder on Friday, following a traumatic nine-month trial and 22 days of gruelling jury deliberation.
Britain's most prolific child killer is the fourth woman to ever be handed this sentence as she joins Rose West, Joanna Dennehy and Myra Hindley, who died in 2002.
'TREATED LIKE ROYALTY'
It is believed Letby will serve her sentence at the notorious HMP Low Newton in County Durham, which is home to some of the UK's deadliest criminals.
She will likely spend time in the prison's hospital wing to assess her physical and mental health, as well as to segregate her from fellow lags.

The monster will be caged for life and die in prison, but a former prisoner has claimed the serial killer "will be treated like royalty".
Francesca Fattore, who was locked up with paedophiles and murderers after being convicted of drug offences, told the Daily Star: “She will be treated like royalty.
“All these prisons have a wing for paedophiles and kiddy killers because they would get beaten up on any other wing."
The 43-year-old explained Letby will be escorted by one or two officers wherever she goes, including to get medication, and going to work.

“She will have protection and in six months or 12 months time, that girl will be sitting there if you go to the library or she could possibly be serving you dinner," she added.
The former offender, who is now an assistant manager at a car company, claimed the evil monster will have protection for years.
But, Francesca also described the darker future that awaits Letby.
“She will get the most amount of abuse," she continued.
"If she is walking past people's cells they will scream through the window, they will threaten her, it has been all over the news."
Francesca claimed prisoners will launch attacks on the serial killer despite her protection.
She also explained constant supervision will actually make life harder.
"If she goes to work and an officer is not there, she has to sit and wait," added Francesca.
“It will actually make her miserable because every day an officer comes to pick her up to take her somewhere, she is going to feel more imprisoned."
This comes as…
- Police are probing whether 'beige' Letby was behind any other hospital attacks
- The parents of twins poisoned by the nurse say no sentence will ever be enough
- Footage shows the moment Letby was led away from her home by police
- She can also be seen lying to police while being grilled after her arrest
The 43-year-old admitted if she had to have a guard following her everywhere it would have made her "embarrassed" and "humiliated".
Prison Oracle editor Mark Leech, another former offender, also gave his opinion.
He said Letby will be known as a "restricted status prisoner" and will be kept on suicide watch for a long time.
“Her life for much of the next few years is going to be a lonely one," added Mark.
“She'll associate mostly with prison officers, her key worker and one or two cleaners, but much of that interaction will be through the hatch in her cell door."
Mark explained the baby killer's life will be limited to reading books, watching TV and one hour of exercise per day.
“She will be able to phone her family and receive visits from them, but the police will have to vet them first," he added.
'CRUEL AND CALLOUS'
The vile monster was convicted of killing neo-natal ward babies byinjecting insulin and air into them, for a year while working at Countess of Chester Hospital.
She was eventually found to be the "common denominator" among the "significant rise" in deaths and collapses.
Police arrested the evil killer in July 2018 at her Chester home, which would later reveal chilling evidence.
Her strange bedroom held disturbing confession notes including one that read: "I am evil I did this."
Other disgusting letters revealed her obsession for a doctor she worked with, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
Manic scrawling next to his name read "I loved you" and "my best friend".
It has been theorised her infatuation with this doctor may have been a motive for her horrific crimes.
The only time Letby displayed any emotion during the nine-month trial was when her colleague spoke in the courtroom and she broke down in tears.
Other possible motives include her fantasy with "playing God", while some suggest she felt a sick "thrill" after each murder.
Twisted coward Letby, 33, refused to attend her sentencing, where Mr Justice Goss told Manchester Crown Court: "You acted in a way that was completely contrary to the normal human instincts of nurturing and caring for babies and in gross breach of the trust that all citizens place in those who work in the medical and caring professions.

"The babies you harmed were born prematurely and some were at risk of not surviving but in each case you deliberately harmed them, intending to kill them."
"You cruelly and callously made inappropriate remarks to some of the grieving parents," Mr Justice Goss added.
