This is the moment a British holidaymaker in Magaluf is beaten and handcuffed by Spanish police who were breaking up a fight in the latest incident in the mayhem capital of the Mediterranean.
Video obtained exclusively by MailOnline shows the British man being thrown to the ground and beaten by the baton-wielding police officers in the middle of the road of Magaluf’s notorious Punta Ballena strip last night.
The British man, wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts and white trainers, held up his hands in an apparent show of no resistance before the police officer with the baton forced him to roll over.
The officer kneed on the tourist’s back and handcuffed him. Another man, also wearing a white t-shirt, was also seized.
Police were flagged down after a fight between at least two men erupted in the street opposite a bar called Wyld and another called Viking.

Just last Monday a British teenager was allegedly raped by six tourists in Magaluf.
Despite the recent attack, teenager Gina Trolese, 17, who works at a family stall selling fresh juice close to the Punta Ballena strip said things ‘have really improved here in the last few years’.
‘The authorities have made the streets a lot safer. They have done things like pass new laws, banning supermarkets from selling alcohol after 10pm,’ she said.
‘There are also a lot more police patrolling around and security cameras. Every night, the police close the street to traffic and that makes it more secure. There is also a lot of effort to keep the streets clean. Before all this, it was really scary and horrible.
‘My family say that the type of holidaymakers who come here have also changed. It used to be only young people, but now there are a lot more families.’
Signs erected throughout the Punta Ballena strip warn drinkers that they face a fine of 400 euros if they ‘shout fight or bother people’, or strip of their clothes. Anyone who urinates or vomits in the street faces a 200 euro penalty.
But one reveller said: ‘I don’t know why they bother to try and change things. This place has always been famous for drinking and clubbing. I don’t think you are going to change that in a hurry.’
Jess Tempest, 25, from Sheffield, South Yorkshire, who is working for the summer as a ‘shot girl’ selling drinks in bars and nightclubs, said: ‘There is some crime here.
‘I came out to work last year, but I went home after I got mugged. Someone shoved me to the ground and stole my phone and money.
‘I decided to come back this year, and I have had no problems. But there was an incident with a girl being raped on the beach.

‘But in general, Magaluf is much quieter than it used to be. I came here on holiday in 2017 and it was wild. It is not so crazy now.’
Another young Irish woman Emily, 24, from Waterford who is working as a bar tout after getting a business studies degree, said: ‘It is a great atmosphere here, but sometimes horrible things happen.
‘Last season I was a shop girl and got a slap in the face from a guy who was fooling around. Working here can be emotionally draining. I get paid 70 euros for an eight hour shift and pay 125 euros a week rent for a shared bedroom.’
Attacks are still frequent in Magaluf and MailOnline can reveal that a 21-year-old male tourist from France was allegedly given unsolicited oral sex by a 37-year-old man after he passed out drunk on a sunbed in Magaluf earlier this month.
A British man aged 45 was also arrested and remanded in custody in May this year after he allegedly raped his son’s female friend at a hotel in Magaluf.
Two Irish men were also arrested on suspicion of raping a British tourist in a hotel in Magaluf in the early hours of July 19.
In another incident a 17-year-old British boy was allegedly sexually assaulted by a taxi driver after he tried to hail a cab back to his hotel from Magaluf’s main Punta Ballena strip of bars and clubs at around 5am on August 6.
They also kicked another men who was sitting on the floor and holding his arm in front of his face to protect himself
