Rapper Fetty Wap is arrested for ‘threatening to kill a man over Facetime and brandishing a gun at him’ after accusing him of being a rat – as prosecutors claim he’s broken his $500k bail conditions on drugs charges

• The rapper, who is said to be worth $10million, called his rival a ‘rat’ and threatened to kill his rival and everyone with him 
• Feds may now revoke the Trap Queen rapper’s $500,000 bail from a prior drug charge after he threaten to kill someone on a FaceTime call
• The Silk City rapper flashed a gun during the call, allegedly violating the terms of his release
• Fetty Wap was arrested in October 2021 for being a ‘kilo-level’ drug dealer in Long Island and his native New Jersey

Silk City rapper Fetty Wap was arrested on Monday for allegedly threatening to kill a man and calling him a ‘rat’ over FaceTime, according to the US Attorney’s office.

Willie Junior Maxwell II, who goes by the stage name Fetty Wap, is said to have brandished a gun on the call and said said ‘Imma kill you and everybody you with,’ according to federal prosecutors. 

The feds also showed photos of the rapper – who is said to be worth $10million – flashing his gun over the phone call, which happened in December 2021. 

After the man called the rapper a rat, he responded by saying ‘Your man is a rat,’ prosecutors say.

Maxwell has previously been released on a $500,000 personal recognizance bond after his arrest in October 2021 for his part in alleged drug trafficking on Long Island.

The photos show a huge stash of cash, consisting of hundred, fifty and twenty dollar bills divided up into a dozen clear baggies 

Rapper Fetty Wap was arrested on federal drug charges and was taken into custody at the Citi Field Stadium in New York City on October 28. He is pictured arriving at the festival shortly before his arrest.

According to the affidavit filed on Monday, the rapper said: ‘Imma kill you and everybody you with’ before repeating ‘I’m gonna kill you.’ 

An FBI agent said that this was ‘a direct violation of both state law and the condition of his release.’ 

Fetty Wap was scheduled to appear at a Central Islip federal court Monday afternoon. It’s not yet clear if his bail will be revoked pending his trial. 

The December call by the star came about a month after he was busted at the Rolling Loud Festival at Citi Field in Flushing, Queens for being part of a multi-million dollar bicoastal heroin and fentanyl ring.

The FBI seized $1.5 million in cash along with stacks of pressed cocaine and bags of heroin and fentanyl that they say the rapper along with five others – including a New Jersey correctional officer – were selling in Long Island and New Jersey.

The ‘Trap Queen’ rapper, who is blind in one eye due to glaucoma, hit number two on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2014 with his ballad to strippers, money and dealing crack on the gritty streets of Paterson. 

In 2015, he became the first rapper to have three top 20 songs on Billboard since Eminem in 2013.

He has collaborated with Drake, French Montana, Nicki Minaj and others.

Fetty has been sued many times for copyright infringement, defamation and assault. He was arrested in 2017 for drunk driving, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and reckless endangerment after being caught drag racing on a Brooklyn highway.

His first federal drug charges came as part of the coast-to-coast operation. The feds claim that the group would buy cocaine, heroin and fentanyl in California and mail or drive it in vehicles with hidden compartment across the country.

Fetty Wap supplemented his recording artist income with ‘kilo-level’ drug dealing, according to a federal complaint.

The Trap Queen hitmaker, who is originally from New Jersey, was in Florida for his appearance at STORY Nightclub in Miami Beach

He was arrested and charged with conspiracy to distribute controlled substances last October and is currently awaiting trial after being released on $500,000 bond days later
