
A 16-YEAR-OLD girl has died after being hit by a car in a horror crash with cops arresting one man.
Police and emergency services rushed to the scene at around 1.30pm yesterday after reports of a collision on Rochdale Road in Oldham, Manchester.
Cops said two vehicles were involved in the crash, with one of the cars mounting the pavement and crashing into the teen.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the teenager was sadly pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the injuries she sustained.
One man in his 20s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He remains in police custody for questioning.

Cops were pictured cordoning off the area after the shocking incident.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "GMP were called at 1.33pm today, Thursday 23 February 2023, to reports of a serious collision on Rochdale Road, near to the junction of Crompton Street, in Oldham.
Colleagues from GMFRS and NWAS are currently on scene and investigations are ongoing."
Cops are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or may have dashcam or doorbell footage, to please share it with GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
