Horrific new photos show a 9-year-old boy’s shredded shoulder and scores of teeth marks after he was bitten by a shark in Florida over the weekend.

Mom Kristine Weiskopf told a local ABC-TV station in a report Monday that the family was visiting Miami Beach from Minnesota when she and her son Jay went into the water Sunday and he was attacked.

“I was holding his hand the whole time, and he was kind of body surfing a little bit and he had fallen on his stomach,” Weiskopf said to WPLG.

Weiskopf said she pulled her son up — and saw a large patch of skin missing from his right shoulder.

“He just said, ‘Ow,’ and I looked down, and there was about a 4-foot gray shark just kinda swimming away, so I just scooped [Jay] up and ran him up the beach,” the mom said.

The boy was rushed to a local hospital for surgery to close the gaping wound, which needed more than 20 stitches, the Daily Mail reported.
