A would-be cow admirer slipped and fell on his backside running from one of the angry animals after it charged at him.

Olivia Bedford, 19, was out for a walk with her boyfriend Cameron Calcutt, also 19, when he decided to try to stroke one of the animals as they stood in a field on a summer evening.

However, in a hilarious video, Cameron was left in a state of pure fear when one moody bovine chose to charge at him, clearly unimpressed by his approach.

As OIivia calls out in a mixture of panic and laughter, he bolts back towards his girlfriend, a look of shock on his face.

But he slips on a patch of grass as he tries to make his escape, landing on his rear end, before springing back to his feet and vaulting over the fence.

Fortunately, the animal decides against continuing to buffalo him – and as it becomes clear he is no longer a threat, it steers away.

The clip starts with Cameron asking Olivia to ‘film me’ as he approaches a crowd of roughly half a dozen cows.

But the calm encounter sours when one of the animals gives chase, prompting Cameron to make a run for it.

The furious cow gives him a steely look as it diverts course at the last second, seemingly satisfied that he has been scared off.

Cameron springs to his feet and vaults the fence as his girlfriend continues laughing. She later said: ‘I was laughing so hard I actually peed myself’

Olivia shouts ‘Cammy! Cammy!’ as he runs back towards her, while continuing to film, before breaking out into a fit of laughter.

The social media manager, from Wakefield, later said: ‘I was laughing so hard I actually peed myself. He found it too funny to be embarrassed.

‘He ran away because he thought they were all going to charge at him.

‘As you can tell, this was his first and last altercation with a cow.’
