Holidaymakers were left shrieking in terror after spotting deadly sharks lurking in the water just metres away from swimmers off the coast of a popular Spanish resort.
A clip has captured the moment tourists were screaming as two deadly blue sharks turned up off the coast of Portbou in Catalonia, Spain on July 16.
Swimmers had rushed to get out of the water after spotting the sharp-toothed predators — with some taking refuge on a platform in the sea and others heading back to shore.

Local media reports that no one was killed or injured during the ordeal
Despite the panic after the footage was shared on social media, Portbou mayor Gael Rodrigues stated: "Portbou beach is completely safe."
He added that blue sharks are often spotted off beaches in the municipality because they are native to the area.
The news comes after a swimmer came face-to-face with a 20ft shark after twice ignoring warnings from onlookers.
A group of holidaymakers were out on the water off the Gwynedd coast when, one of them spotted a dark, menacing shape in the water beneath them.
The massive creature, which was estimated to be 20ft long, moved slowly through the water, North Wales Live reports.
One of the men was swimming at the time and frantically scrambled back to his wakeboard before being pulled back aboard a boat before it swam past them.

What they were seeing, they later realised, was a basking shark.
These are not uncommon in Britain’s coastal waters but they can be hard to spot and are rarely seen quite so close to land.
Clifftops often offer the best vantage points and drones have made them easier to find.
They are the world’s second-largest sharks and reach up to a whopping 28ft as adults, suggesting the Pen Llŷn sighting was a juvenile.
