A CANCER-sufferer claims she is being driven mad by her "nightmare neighbour" who erected a 6ft barrier outside her house.
Tormented Sharon Webber says the fence has caused extensive damage to her Peugeot 2008 as she struggles to reverse in or out without hitting it.
The 54-year-old, who has fibromyalgia, vertigo, migraines, joint pain, IBS, and was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in March, sought legal advice in a bid to get the structure removed.
But she was dealt a major blow when she was advised it would cost her £30,000 to take the pensioner to court and uproot it.
The barrier has been put up on land that is owned by no one. Sharon uses the space as a driveway and a place to park her car.
Sharon, who has lived in the house in Morley, West Yorkshire, for 27 years, is now at her wits' end after enduring almost two decades of alleged issues with the man who lives five doors down.
She said: "He has made my life hell for the last 18 years.

Since moving to the area, single Sharon claims she has had to put up with the resident blocking her in with his 4×4, kicking over her wheelie bins and smearing them in grease.
The householder has also allegedly had straw thrown into her garden by her neighbour's girlfriend.

But she was tipped over the edge earlier this month when he installed a 1ft-high and 6ft-long barrier across an area at the back of her home that she has right of way access to.
Sharon uses the land to park her car and she now finds it incredibly tricky to reverse in or out.
She says it's so tight that she has repeatedly crashed into the fence, "absolutely ruining" her vehicle.
"I've scratched and dented my car. It's a right mess," she said.
"He's also put his wheelie bins right on the corner so I've got to hit his bins not to hit the post.
"He has made it as hard as possible for me to drive to my own house."
Cops have been called several times over the years and Sharon has also complained to her council and local MP.
But she claims "they just don't seem to be doing anything".
He's a nightmare. He's the worst neighbour you could ever have.
Sharon contacted a solicitor about the post to find out where she stood legally, only to be told it would cost her £30,000 to get it removed.
And if she does tear it down without permission she risks "being done for criminal damage".
"I've just had enough now," she said.
"No one is doing anything to help me and it is making me unwell."
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are aware of an ongoing dispute involving neighbours which appears to relate to a disagreement over parking spaces.
"Those involved have been spoken to regarding a number of allegations which have been made to police, and officers are working closely with partner agencies to resolve the situation."
A Leeds City Council representative said: "The council is unable to go into the details of specific cases, but can confirm that we were contacted by a resident on last year.
"Following discussions, we advised them that the matter in question should be taken up with the police."

And a spokesperson for Morley Town Council said: "We would encourage any resident who is having problems with anti-social behaviour to contact their local councillor directly so we can work with the resident and other authorities to address such problems."
Sharon's neighbour was unavailable for comment.
