- Comedian Joe Rogan said on a recent episode of his podcast that ex-president Donald Trump is unbeatable in the GOP primary
- Rogan, 55, heaped praise on Trump’s presidency and advised Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to drop out of the race
- The MMA announcer also insinuated that he was open to the idea of having Trump on his his show
Comedian and MMA announcer Joe Rogan declared in his podcast this week that no Republican candidate can beat Donald Trump in the GOP primary.
‘No one is going to run against Trump on the Republican side and win because you are not going to get the Trump supporters. They are all in on Trump. Unless he has a stroke. Unless something horrible happens,’ the former Fear Factor host told guest Patrick Bet-David.
Rogan, 55, went on to heap praise on Trump, calling the thrice indicted ex-president’s time in office ‘effective’, citing economic improvements. During the episode, Rogan also said he was open to having Trump on his show so that the pair could discuss the ‘deep state.’
The comedian added that others now go along with Trump’s policies, including building a wall.
‘People liked the ideas he was putting forward… everybody thinks there needs to be a wall. Even the Mayor of New York City is now calling to stop immigration into his city. This is a guy who called for it to be a sanctuary city,’ Rogan said.

Rogan went on to take aim at Trump’s critics, while also saying that he was a friend of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, he would tell him to drop out of the race.
‘When you look at the Russia collusion. When you look at the Steele dossier. When you look at all the bulls**t, they tried to throw at him that we now know is bullshit. Not just bullshit, but coordinated bulls**t. When you look at the fact that they suppressed this Hunter Biden laptop story.’
‘And 51 intelligence agency representatives signed off on that to say that this is Russian disinformation, which we know they know is not true.
‘That’s scary. Because now you have the intelligence agencies colluding to keep a guy from being president, who was president during a time when the country was thriving economically,’ Rogan added.
Bet-David inquired as to when Rogan would have Trump on his hugely popular podcast. ‘I don’t know – maybe,’ the comedian said.
For years, Rogan has said that he would not have the former Apprentice host on as a guest but now he appears to have softened on the issue.
‘I would like to know what is it like when you actually get into office? I would like to know things like what is it like versus perception? What is it actually like when you get in that building? What are you greeted with? When do you know that people are f***ing with you,’ Rogan pondered.
In another segment, Rogan mocked President Joe Biden calling him a ‘goof’ and alleging that the mainstream news networks refuse to hold the Scranton-native accountable.
‘There is so much evidence that he is corrupt,’ Rogan said. He then made reference to Hunter Biden’s former business partner, Devon Archer, saying ‘[he] just testified he was business partners with Hunter who talked about all the different things that Joe was involved with.’

Rogan also wondered about how Trump came to the decision to fire former FBI director James Comey.
The comedian then made reference to a famous Bill Hicks routine about being elected president and then being shown the JFK assassination from a previously unseen angle.
‘You know, what is the machine that runs this country? Because it’s very clear that it’s not as simple as elected representatives that are doing the will of the people,’ Rogan went on.
‘Just so you know, he and I don’t speak. You know, it’s not something that is like, hey, his camp is saying go in there and do this and do that. Now, I’ve never interviewed the guy, so it’s not like I’m lobbying for it,’ Bet-David responded.
Trump meanwhile, fresh off his third appearance in court as a criminal defendant, delivered a speech full of defiance and bluster on Friday night, insulting prosecutors and declaring that the charges he faces only help his 2024 presidential campaign.
‘Any time they file an indictment, we go way up in the polls,’ Trump said at a Republican Party dinner in Alabama. ‘We need one more indictment to close out this election. One more indictment, and this election is closed out. Nobody has even a chance.’
Trump was characteristically unapologetic as he took the stage Friday night to Lee Greenwood’s ‘God Bless the USA,’ flashing a thumbs-up at the crowd, raising his fist and taking in a standing ovation of nearly three minutes.
‘We’re gonna be here for a little while,’ he joked, asking the crowd to take a seat.
The latest set of charges focuses on the two months between his November 2020 loss to Democrat Joe Biden and the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. Trump has denied wrongdoing and has wedded his 2024 presidential campaign to his legal defense and his false claims of 2020 election fraud.
Trump has continued to receive endorsements from GOP elected officials throughout the investigations and criminal cases, including on Friday from all six of the state’s Republican U.S. House members.
Sen. Tommy Tuberville of Alabama, who is waging an unprecedented campaign to try to change Pentagon abortion policy by holding up hundreds of military nominations and promotions, introduced Trump at the dinner on Friday night.
‘He’s had a tough week. We need to stand behind him,’ Tuberville said. ‘He needs encouragement. They’re after him.’ Repeating Trump’s frequent refrain, he added, ‘They’re after you.’
Among the opening acts of the dinner were Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips, who produced the movie 2000 Mules, which made various debunked claims about mail ballots, drop boxes and ballot collection in the 2020 presidential election.
Trump praised the pair in his remarks and said: ‘Get ready. Get those votes ready. Just get them ready. Keep those tapes handy because you’re going to need them.’
The crowd of 2,700 began arriving several hours early for the dinner, a $250-per-ticket fundraiser for the Alabama Republican Party.
‘They are excited,’ Alabama Republican Party Chair John Wahl said. ‘There is so much passion from Trump supporters and voters across the state.’
