According to a release from the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the unknown man began ‘aggressively getting in the victim’s face.’
The aggressor moved so close to the victim that he had to take a step back and ended up standing on the stairs in the theater’s aisle, as a trailer for the new Mission Impossible installment plays on screen.
Video footage of the incident depicts the attacker moving toward the victim, eventually shoving him against a railing.
The victim, at one point, loses his balance and tumbles down the aisle stairs.

The perpetrator and his apparent date left theater and, according to footage, quickly left the complex.
Though the attacker’s face is clearly shown on camera, authorities have yet to apprehend a suspect and are asking members of the public with information regarding the man’s identity to contact the sheriff’s office at 954-601-5905.
