Chew want some? Hilarious moment gummy one-year-old desperate for a bite of his mom’s sandwich gets frustrated because he has no teeth to tuck in

This is the hilarious moment a gummy one-year-old desperate for a bite of his mom’s sandwich gets frustrated because he has no teeth to tuck in.

Samantha Maples, 28, from Santa Rosa, California, was eating a homemade turkey sandwich when her son Royce decided he wanted a bite.

She tried to distract him initially but Royce was determined to tuck in and she began to film his efforts.

In the footage, Royce can be seen trying to eat the sandwich several times but failing due to his lack of teeth.

Eventually, the one-year-old became frustrated and cried in anger, balling his fists in the video taken on August 11 2020.

His mom laughed in the background and said: ‘it’s not my fault you can’t take a bite.’ 

Samantha, who is a stay-at-home mother, found Royce’s reaction hilarious.

She said: ‘I just kept laughing – having teeth is something I take for granted every day!’

Little Royce is now three and has teeth- so can eat all of the sandwiches he wants.
