Motorcyclist smashes into the back of a police car then flies over his handlebars after failing to stop – before officers ridicule him on Twitter

A motorcyclist crashed into the back of a police car during a chase, after failing to stop and officers took the chance to ridicule him on Twitter.
The incident happened on Saturday, in the village of Borrowash, near Derby, when the motorcyclist failed to stop when asked by the police officers.
The suspected crook went over the handlebars as he rear-ended the force vehicle.
He then tried to hobble away before he was bundled to the ground by a police officer.
Derbyshire’s Road Police Unit took the chance to ridicule him on Twitter with many locals commenting.
Police tweeted: ‘Borrowash’s answer to Valentino Rossi on his little chicken chaser decides to fail to stop for us.

After the crash he went over the handlebars and fell on the ground
‘We do pursue motorcycles as they present a danger to the public.
‘Sorts himself out with an endo. No damage to our car.
‘Sore ankle and a court date for him.’
Former Crimewatch presenter Rav Wilding said: ‘Top work by the roads team.
‘Sore ankle and a day in court is a fine result.’
He tried to hobble away but was quickly bundled to the ground by a police officer
Locals poked fun at the rider with Nigel Brook saying: ‘Guys limping away, easy to apprehend.
‘But no, let’s give him a right shove into that ditch.’
A fellow cop – called Ben – said: ‘Hilarious, especially with the nudge into the grass verge at the end.
‘I had to say sit down everytime I watched it, which was loads.
Derbyshire’s Road Police Unit posted the footage on Twitter
‘Cracking work guys.’
Bob Avent added: ‘Nice graceful dismount.
‘Obviously didn’t see the nice bright police car with flashing lights.’
John Kirby added: ‘B****y hell. That is too funny. Love it.’
Shy Ted said: ‘It wouldn’t have happened if his mum had told him off when growing up.’
Dog asked: ‘Did some one give the officer who stopped him his Krispy Kreme reward? Cos he damn well deserves it!’
Claire Bishop added: ‘Im sorry but i have to make a confession. As a law abiding citizen I’ve always followed any instruction given to me by the police but today I’m afraid I couldn’t do it.
‘Your request of no laughing is something I can’t do. It gets funnier every time I see it!’
