A mum has blasted the barber who gave her 13-year-old son the Brazilian Ronaldo haircut.
The mum from Morley, West Yorkshire, took to Facebook to say she was fuming with the hairdresser.
Sharing a picture of her son's new trim, she wrote: “To the barber who did this to my unaccompanied 13yr old may I suggest you do not give stupid hair cuts to minors without an adult present. This is ridiculous [sic].”

Twitter user @jshbckhs shared a screenshot of the post, much to the hilarity of other users on the platform.
Some Twitter users reckoned the child asked for a Ronaldo cut – but walked out with the ‘R9’ style made famous at the 2002 World Cup rather than one currently sported by the rather more trendy Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
Twitter user @itsDaibhi said: “When your kid asks for a Ronaldo haircut but doesn’t specify which Ronaldo…”
Another Twitter – @shutter_lux – agreed saying: “Obviously asked for a Ronaldo cut and got an R9 cut, not a CR7 cut.”
Others enjoyed the retro feel, reminiscing about when they copied the Brazilian legend’s widely-mocked hairstyle.
@jizermc67 said: “Used to get this in the 90s,” and @MWJS82 added: “The R9 cut, absolute classic”.
Ronaldo – whose full name is Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima – sported his haircut for the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea, with the striker starring for Brazil as they won the tournament for the fifth time.
Ronaldo previously revealed the style was part of a plan to take the pressure off him.
Much of the talk going into the World Cup surrounded Ronaldo’s fitness. But as a result of the hideous crop, the focus of commentators turned towards his haircut instead.
"I had an injury in my leg and everybody was talking about that. I decided to cut my hair and leave the small thing there. I come to training and everybody saw me with bad hair," he told ESPN in 2018.
