A WOMAN who had her care cut off by the council is trapped in her home unable to wash.
Rebekah Ninnis, 29, can't even dress herself since carers ended their once-a-day visits, forcing her mum to fill in for them.
But mum Moira, a full-time community carer, says life has become "impossible" as the family from Penzance, Cornwall, deal with a crisis which is overwhelming the county.
She told CornwallLive: “Her condition has left her unable to dress or shower herself.
“She was previously visited once a day but now has no care package and nobody coming in to get her up."
Rebekah was diagnosed with functional neurological disorder (FND) in March.

The condition means her brain cannot send signals to her body properly, making everyday tasks virtually impossible.
Rebekah, also a former carer, had been looked after by STEPs, which offers limited at-home care in Cornwall for residents experiencing health crises.
But this ended last week leaving mum Moira to juggle her full-time job while caring for her daughter, who suffers from seizures.
It comes after the 29-year-old was admitted to Royal Cornwall Hospital last month with a suspected kidney infection.

She was discharged in the early hours on the agreement she return for a scan.
Following the health scare, the pair repeatedly tried to contact the carers who used to look after Rebekah – but to their horror were told it was over and someone else had been prioritised.
“We’ve got nowhere to go as no care companies seem to be taking people," Moira stressed.
Cornwall Council admitted the care industry, which has got a massive 650 people on waiting lists, is facing mounting pressures with recruiting and keeping on staff.

Pay and conditions are possible reasons for staff shortages.
The Sun Online have approached Cornwall Council for comment.
