A man has been jailed after he walked into a stable naked and sexually assaulted horses on multiple occasions.

Jean Bugoma, 25, was slapped with a 10-year prison sentence following his depraved acts inside a San Antonio equine boarding facility.

Police said he was initially charged with several counts of burglary and bestiality linked to incidents in June 2020 and January and February 2021.

“A number of animals were injured in the attack which occurred after Bugoma broke into the stable, allegedly to have sexual relations with several horses,” the City of San Antonio Animal Care Services Department (ACS) said.

According to authorities, Bugoma entered the facility and committed bestiality with a horse in the January 2021 incident.

It was reported that two other horses sustained physical injuries after they were “hobbled,” meaning their legs were tied together.

The year before, he was caught on camera as he strolled from the facility while nude, the arrest affidavit stated.

Authorities were alerted after the owner found a horse out of its stall and spotted items that were out of place.

A veterinarian was sent to the scene and confirmed that the animals were sexually and physically assaulted, reports KSAT.

Police said the DNA taken from one of the horses was later identified as Bugoma's.

He was finally busted after San Antonio police and the owner caught him trying to break into the facility on Valentine's Day in February 2021.

Prosecutors said on one occasion that Bugoma was caught "tripping" a horse, reports Law and Crime.

The act involves “roping the front or hind legs of a galloping horse while on foot or horseback, causing it to trip and fall for entertainment purposes.”

Prosecutors also claim the horses could have been assaulted with “an unknown object."

Bugoma plead guilty to one count of bestiality in the company of a child under the age of 18 before he reached a deal.

He was sentenced on Wednesday ( June 29).
