The One Show host and former England footballer Jermaine Jenas has been banned from driving for six months after he was caught using his mobile phone behind the wheel.
The former Tottenham midfielder was driving a black Range Rover in Stanmore, north London, at the time of the offence on the afternoon of October 14 last year.
The father-of-four was pictured while being quizzed by a police officer at the side of the road, and admitted breaking the law by using his mobile to text.

Jenas, who is also a pundit for Match of the Day and BT Sport, was also caught doing 65mph in a 50mph zone on the M25 motorway in Hertfordshire on March 4 this year, according to court records.
He had been driving the same Range Rover between junctions 24 and 23 of the motorway at 2.07pm, according to court documents.
The 39-year-old pleaded guilty to driving whilst using a mobile phone and speeding at Willesden Magistrates’ Court earlier this month.
He was handed a six-month driving ban, given six penalty points, and fined £660 for the first offence.

In evidence submitted to the court, Pc Neil Cornelius said he was on patrol at 3.20pm on October 14 last year when he spotted Jenas’ Range Rover in Marsh Lane, Stanmore.
The police officer said: ‘I noticed that the driver of this vehicle was using a handheld mobile device whilst driving. The device was being held in both their hands.’
The television presenter, who lives in Arkley, north London, was fined another £1,410, handed three penalty points and ordered to pay £231 in other costs for speeding.
The former footballer played for clubs including Newcastle, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest during his career and made 21 appearances for the England national team.
He spent his last season with Queens Park Rangers before he was forced to retire from football in 2014 following injury.
Jenas began co-hosting The One Show with Alex Jones on BBC One in 2020, before becoming a permanent host last year.
