This is the vile dog owner who was filmed repeatedly punching a puppy in the head and throwing another small dog across the street.

Tyler Steele sparked fury after he was caught on a doorbell camera beating a 12-week-old XL Bully for disobeying him.

The 25-year-old was also caught in sparate footage grabbing a French bulldog by the scruff of the neck and hurling the startled pet into the air.

Both clips were filmed a mile and a half apart in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.

Steele bought the XL Bully, called Bo, a fortnight ago after paying a couple called Ashley Salmon and Megan Dawson £1,000.

Mr Salmon, 24, said he is now looking after Bo after demanding her back when he saw the clip of Steele violently yanking her lead and bashing her about the head.

He said a vet had checked the puppy over and other than slight swelling just above a bloodshot left eye, she was in good health.

Mr Salmon said today: ‘I spent an hour with Tyler about two weeks ago when he came to me about buying Bo.She is one of three puppies that were up for sale.

‘From the interaction I had with Tyler, there was no reason for me to suspect that he would treat Bo the way he did. He said he had other bulldogs and wanted an XL Bully.

‘He handed over £1,000 in cash and took her away. But when I saw that video of him bashing her repeatedly around the head, I felt disgusted.

‘She’d been with him for not even a week, and he was doing that to her. I contacted him on Facebook and told him that I wanted Bo back.

‘He initially said that he didn’t want to part with her as she was his pet and he loved her, but I snapped back that he couldn’t love her all that much if he was willing to beat her senseless.

‘It was only after I offered him his money back, did he agree to meet me again and hand Bo back to me. But he wouldn’t talk about what he did. He’s a coward, he just wanted the cash back.

‘Bo’s now going to stay with us as our family pet. I can’t trust anyone else to look after her properly.

‘We’ve had her checked out by the vet as she had a bloodshot left eye and a slight bump above the eye socket but it’s much better now. She’s in good spirits.

‘But no dog is safe with Tyler. He shouldn’t be allowed to own any animal ever again.’

Steele is now being hunted by police and the RSPCA after footage of him beating Bo went viral.

In the distressing 23-second clip, he is seen crouching down as the frightened puppy refuses to move and snaps: ‘Come on, no come here.’

He then hit Bo five times, causing her to whimper in pain.

He then walked off but reappeared carrying the dog while launching a foul-mouth rant saying: ‘I don’t want it no want it no more, he can f**k off.’

Later, Steele was seen clashing with the owner of the doorbell footage after the clip was uploaded onto the internet last Friday.

He tells the homeowner: ‘I don’t give a f*** about the video. I’ve told everyone it was me. I don’t give two flying f***s. I’ll treat my dog how I want to treat it.’

The owner of the doorbell footage declined to comment when approached by MailOnline. Steele is believed to have been staying with friends nearby.
