Police have launched an urgent search for a missing girl, three, who vanished with her father after a woman was punched and bitten during an assault inside a car.
Lancashire Police are looking to track down Simon Cooney, 35, in relation to the assault – which happened in Kingscote Park, Blackpool at around 4am this morning.
During the assault, a woman was punched in the face bitten to her hand, before she left the car.
Officers are also urgently trying to locate Autumn, who remained in the car, as they are ‘extremely concerned’ for her welfare.
A police spokesperson said: ‘We believe she may be with Simon, however the car has since been located abandoned on Lakeway, Blackpool, and they could have travelled anywhere.’

Police are asking anyone who may have seen Simon and Autum, or has information about where they might be, to get in touch straight away.
Simon is described as being white, approximately 6ft tall, of slim build, with a shaven head and a beard. He has links to both Blackpool and Preston.
Young Autumn has shoulder-length, blonde hair.
Inspector Stephen Brazil, of Blackpool Police, said: ‘We are extremely worried about Autumn and need to find her and make sure she is safe as a matter of urgency.
‘We also need to locate Simon regarding a nasty assault which occurred in the early hours of today.’

Insp Brazil added: ‘If you see Simon, please do not approach him, but contact us straight away on 999.
‘Similarly, if you see Autumn please tell us immediately by calling 999.’
Those with information as to where they might be, however vague, are urged to inform the police by calling 101.
Anyone with information should quote log 211 of August 28 when they call.
