A SECOND woman has died after being crushed at a concert in London.

Gabrielle Hutchinson tragically passed away following the horror at the O2 Academy in Brixton on Thursday.

The 23-year-old was working as a security guard when she became caught up in an alleged 3,000-person crowd attempting to force entry to London's O2 Academy Brixton.

She was rushed to hospital in critical condition along with several others.

But, despite medics' best efforts, Gabrielle tragically died in the early hours of this morning.

She is the second victim of the tragedy after mum-of-two Rebecca Ikumelo passed away on Saturday.

A third woman, aged 21, remains in a critical condition.

Chief Superintendent Colin Wingrove of the Metropolitan Police said: "It is devastating news that a second person has lost their life following the events on Thursday.

"I wish to express my heartfelt condolences to Gabrielle's family at this unimaginably difficult time."

The force said the three women critically injured in the crush were all in the foyer of the building.

It comes after the family of victim Rebecca described the campaigner as "loving" in a heart-breaking tribute.

The mum-of-two frequently shared advice about motherhood on her YouTube and TikTok pages.

Her last video, about her kids' bedtime routine, was posted on Wednesday – the night before the Asake gig.

In it, she describes how she gives her boys a bath and reads them a story before tucking them up into bed.

She also tells how she loves to dance and sing with them to make sure they are always having fun.

The eight-minute video includes clips of her family hanging decorations on the Christmas tree and posing in matching pyjamas.

Rebecca, from Newham, east London, ends the video by saying: "I'll see you guys again next time."

Her family hailed the mum-of-two for her "care, kindness and love".

In a statement released through the Met Police, relatives said: "She was an adorable mother of two children who loved working with kids.

"She was well respected in the family for her care, kindness and love."

One friend shared a picture of the mum on Instagram, saying: "I still can't believe you're gone. Please tell me it's a prank."

Another commented on a photo of Rebecca: "Rest in perfect peace. You did not deserve this at all."

While a third pal said: "So upset. So angry. This could have been prevented.

"I'm so sorry the world failed you. Rest in peace girl."

Author Toni Tone described Rebecca as "a beautiful woman who radiated positive energy".

She added: "She was dedicated to being the best version of herself for her kids."

Rebecca regularly posted online about her two sons, who both have autism.

She raised awareness about the condition and appeared on podcasts to talk about bringing up children with delayed speech.

Tragically, on the day before the concert the doting mum posted a video of one of her boys talking with the caption: "To think just a year ago he was non verbal.

"He’s made so much progress this year."

Rebecca had also recently shared pictures of the family enjoying the snow as they got ready for Christmas.

And she posted a clip saying it was "extra special" this year as her kids could tell her what they wanted for the first time.
