A serial Brooklyn burglar previously wanted in connection to eight break-ins in the borough is suspected in three additional crimes, police said on Sunday.
The latest burglaries happened at houses within about 15 blocks of one another in Gravesend and Bath Beach in a 4-month span starting on Jan. 26, police said.
In each of the new burglaries, the thief pried open a window in the back of the house to gain entry.
He made off with $8,000 in cash and luxury handbags from the first house near West 13 Street and Highlawn Avenue, police said.
He wasn’t as lucky in the second two houses: leaving one empty-handed and another with just $20.
The suspect has struck at least eight other houses in south Brooklyn since Oct. 2, 2017, police said.
He steals cash and jewels from the houses he targets.
