THIS is the jaw dropping moment a car collided with the central reservation, hurling the driver onto the M23 – but he walked away with minor scratches.
Saqib Ali’s Smart car span across the northbound carriageway five times before coming to a halt after a rear tyre blew out.
The 22-year-old, from Crawley, was thrown from the driver's seat onto the road – but walked away with "minor injuries and a few stitches to his face".
The shocking footage taken on Friday January 6, shows Mr Ali lying in the road and was captured by a lorry driver and sent to the HGV Dash Cam Footage Facebook page.
Mr Ali said it was shocking to see the footage – taken near Gatwick airport – but wanted it to be shared for his "piece of mind".
