The estranged husband of a glamorous equestrian accused of plotting to kill him in a $2million hit was rushed to the hospital a day before news of the ‘murder-for-hire plan’ broke, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
Last week, Mark Remley, 57, roared up in his black Ferrari supercar to the $5.3million home in upscale Del Mar, Southern California, that he formerly shared with wife Tatyana – but then desperately rapped on a neighbor’s door saying he was having a seizure.
‘He was highly agitated and looked absolutely terrible, like he might have been detoxing from something,’ a source told DailyMail.com.
‘He said he thought he was having a seizure so the neighbor immediately rang 911. He was taken away in an ambulance to the hospital.
‘The Ferrari was left there. Three days later two of his friends arrived, took the car away and put chains on the gates of the house. Forget him being 57, apparently the guy looked more like 77.’

It is not known what happened to the ‘victim’ husband after he was taken away.

Remley, of Del Mar, California, allegedly tried to pull off a murder-for-hire plot on her estranged millionaire husband, Mark Remley
The bizarre drama played out on August 28 shortly before it was revealed Tatyana Remley, 42, was arrested on August 2 after a police sting at a local Starbucks, where she met a cop posing as a hitman.
She is accused of asking a friend to arrange the alleged hit for $2million amid a bitter divorce battle in which she told a court she used to spend $50,000 a month but her wealthy estranged husband had cut her off financially.
The couple – who were behind a controversial failed multi-million dollar ‘equine-human acrobatics show’ called Valitar in 2012 – have had a volatile marriage since tying the knot in 2011, according to divorce papers filed in July.
Tatyana claims in her latest filings that Mark held a gun to her head at their hillside home near San Diego and also accuses him of chasing her around the house with a knife. Additionally, she alleges her husband was present while she was sexually assaulted by one of his friends.
And DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal another startling incident between the couple.
Five years ago, a terrified Tatyana ran naked out of their home at around 11pm screaming for help, a source has said.
She ran across the cul-de-sac in their quiet enclave and banged on a neighbor’s front door. The startled neighbor, not understanding what exactly was happening, didn’t open up but rang 911.
Officers arrived within minutes, covered Tatyana and diffused the situation.
It is not known what caused the incident – although Mark Remley was no stranger to a tempestuous love life, DailyMail.com can reveal.

The accused wife brought a cash down payment for the hit and three guns to a Starbucks meeting, police said

He had been married before and that nine-year union ended amid volatility after an affair with the nanny of their two children.
He was separated from first wife Elizabeth Joy Remley but still living at their six-bedroom $4.6million marital home three miles from the one he later shared with Tatyana.
In 2009, Elizabeth, now 57, stormed into the house after learning he was with girlfriend Jenny Ehnot, San Diego Superior Court heard.
The first wife yelled profanities at Ehnot, 49, and told her ‘I’m going to kill you’, the judge was told.
Mark stepped in to get his estranged spouse to leave. But she shoved him causing injury, continued to struggle as she was bundled to the door and then slapped him in the face, the court heard.
Elizabeth was ordered to do 100 hours of community service and attend a domestic violence recovery program after being found guilty of assault. He had split from Ehnot by the time the case went to trial, the court heard.
Mark – who is reported to have inherited $26million from his parents – later moved into the current Del Mar property with Tatyana, which DailyMail.com can reveal is still in the name of his late mother, also called Elizabeth.
There, he and his new wife exhibited extravagant tastes, particularly in their choice of cars. This year, three Rolls-Royces stood resplendent on the drive way, along with the Ferrari and two black pick-up trucks.
And it appears they valued their privacy. On the front gates, a menacing sign was once attached reading ‘Never mind the dog, beware of the owner’ complete with a graphic of a hand holding a revolver.
Such a sign is unlikely to have deterred a San Diego Sheriff’s Department SWAT team who arrived at the house on the afternoon of August 2, as shown in another exclusive DailyMail.com photo. A SWAT team member was heard shouting, ‘come out with your hands up.’

The sheriff’s department has not confirmed exactly where Tatyana was arrested, simply saying she was seized the same day as the Starbucks meeting.
The couple have filed for divorce and reconciled multiple times, most recently separating in May this year. Tatyana filed in July alleging the physical and mental abuse and financial woes.
Before that, she said in the papers, she spent up to $50,000 a month and had unlimited access to Mark’s luxury properties, which include a $2.5million spread in Hawaii.
She also loved to flaunt pictures of herself on social media emphasizing the luxury lifestyle.
But her July filing claimed she had no income since the most recent split and asked for $15,000 a month spousal support – plus exclusive use of the Del Mar home and the two trucks.
‘Wife is experiencing extreme financial strain. She is unable to maintain her realistic monthly expenses of just $12,000, much less (than) what she was accustomed to at $50,000,’ her attorney Tiffany Brown wrote to the court.
‘She has no income and does not have the same access to fund and assets that Respondent does.’
The petition claims Mark owns vehicles worth more than $1million and details the couple’s previous extravagance, saying: ‘Some nights, the parties would spend $30,000 in just one night. The parties frequently engaged in high end shopping and dining and went on luxury cruises.’
Tatyana, who has her estranged husband’s name tattooed on her stomach, was arrested after admitting her plans to have him killed and his body disposed of to an undercover detective, San Diego Sheriff’s Department has said.
The accused wife brought a cash down payment for the hit and three guns to the Starbucks meeting, it added. ‘She provided detailed information on how she wanted her husband killed and his body disposed,’ said a spokesperson.
The sheriff’s department has not revealed how it knew of the ‘plot’. But it has been reported Tatyana approached a friend of the couple about the alleged plan and police were later informed.

Tatyana is charged with solicitation of murder and two weapons charges; carrying and concealing firearms not registered in her name in a vehicle and carrying a loaded firearm in a public place not registered in her name.
She pleaded not guilty during her arraignment at superior court in Vista two days after her arrest. A bid to be released on $50,000 bail was rejected by the judge and she remains in jail.
Tatyana was also arrested at the scene of the house fire a month earlier after the sheriff’s department got a call about the blaze at 7.30pm.
Deputies attending found her with three guns and ammunition, according to the sheriff’s department. She was booked into jail on suspicion of firearm-related charges. The cause blaze is still being investigated.
Next day, detectives learned of the alleged murder plot.
The couple were previously notorious for the bungled equestrian extravaganza they organised in 2012 at the prestigious Del Mar Fairgrounds which was meant to have a 45-show run. But it collapsed after just a few performances leaving a trail of debts and angry suppliers and team members.
