Indonesia train bursts Into flames following collision
A train exploded into an enormous fireball when it collided with a truck that had broken down on the tracks.
The Brantas train smashed into the truck in Samarang, an Indonesian city just under 300 miles east of Jakarta, the country’s capital, on July 18.
The truck, heading north, appeared to break down directly on the train track.
It broke down just before the the Jalen Madukoro Bridge.
Fortunately the driver left the vehicle before the crash, and is understood to have gone for help.

According to local media, just one person was injured in the incident
State railway operator PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) of Bandung operational region, said that train departures from Bandung, West Java, that use the north lane can now operate normally following the crash.
In some clips online, the train’s engineer, whose name was confirmed by KAI to be Bundi, can be seen running away from the flames moments after crashing, reported local news site Detik.

A spokesperson for KAI said of the driver: “As far as I know, the driver is resting and last night a physical examination was carried out, there were no abrasions, no burns, and he is currently in a psychological recovery position because he was physically checked last night.”
Authorities say the train was too close to be stopped and confirmed there were no casualties.
It can be seen crumpling against the bridge, just moments before it burst into flames.
