Watch as thugs in ‘stolen BMW’ crush woman’s legs with bumper after she stood in the road to stop their escape

A woman in her 60s who tried to prevent a dangerous driver from escaping was agonisingly rammed in the legs.

In the footage you can see a husband and wife driving after what appears to be a stolen blue BMW which had crashed into them.

The man who is filming then approaches the BMW on a street in Barking, east London, and asks for his insurance details because he had hit his car. The driver – who is penned in, then tries to escape.

In doing so, the car rams into the woman’s legs who was standing in front of her car, causing her to scream in agony.  

The start of the video shows the husband and wife driving after what is believed to be two stolen vehicles – a grey Bentley and blue BMW

The man filming approaches the driver of the BMW asking to see his insurance details because he had crashed into him

The BMW then managed to turn around in a tight space and head for the woman in her 60s filming the incident 

Before she can even react, the blue car drives at speed into her legs 

You can hear the woman start to scream in agony as the car rams into her 

The woman’s legs were crushed in between the two cars 

The man filming this horrible ordeal bangs on the BMW’s bonnet to try and get them to release the trapped woman in her 60s before she just manages to escape.

As the pair both start screaming to the neighbors on the street to call the police, the driver of the BMW attempts to make a run for it. 

Another angle of the incident shows the driver of the BMW getting back into his vehicle and then escaping, crashing into the husband and wife’s car.

A grey Bentley then also scrapes past their vehicle and escapes.  

It is believed the vehicles are stolen. 

The Metropolitan Police said it had received no calls at this location this morning. 

The driver of the BMW then decided to make a  break for it on foot as they could not get past the vehicle

The husband and wife were both screaming to the neighbours to call the police

Eventually the BMW decides to drive through the tight gap, damaging the other two vehicles in the process
