Another sunny, mild day is in the forecast for the Denver metro area.
The high on Tuesday is expected to be about 51 degrees with light winds of 5 to 9 mph that may gust up to 15 mph in the Mile High City, according to the National Weather Service.
The mountains, however, are a different story with light snow expected along the Continental Divide and south of the Interstate 70 corridor with snow accumulations projected to be between 2 to 5 inches.
Denver will drop to a low of 25 degrees overnight.
The mild weather is expected to continue through the week. Wednesday will reach a high around 48 with light winds and will fall to 24 overnight. Thursday is similar with a high of 46 and low of 22.
Those looking for snow in the metro area may get a chance to see some Sunday night. The NWS says there’s a chance of snow overnight and into Monday morning.
