RESIDENTS are furious after plans to turn a quiet haven near Sandbanks into the "Magaluf of Britain" have been approved.
A historic solarium at Branksome Chine, Dorset, will be transformed into a Love Island beach club.
With a large bar, restaurant and roof terrace, it's expected to turn into a popular nightspot.
Yoga and Pilates classes will also be on offer during the day.
However many fear the new nightspot will attract "loutish visitors" and "Love Island crowds".
The plans received over 200 letters of complaints from locals all believing it would turn the family-friendly resort into a drinking hub.

Describing it as "straight out of a Miami beach scrapbook of unsuitable designs", one objector said to replace the current art-deco building with the club would be an "act of gratuitous vandalism".
Its new design is in a bid to keep up with neighbouring Sandbanks where mansions sell for multi-millions.
Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council (BCP) decided to go against advice from their conservation officers and grant permission.
Officer Mike Watts said: "A drinking/get-drunk hub for loutish visitors that have come here to let off steam and don't care a jot about our health and wellbeing.

"If BCP allow this then it is clear their intent is on changing the face of Poole from a family resort with beautiful beaches to become the 'Magaluf' of Britain."
BCP Council's planning committee voted nine to three in favour of approving the plans.
Councillor Toby Johnson said the plans were a good development for the area.
He said: "I quite like the contemporary style…I think it is an intensification, but that's not really a bad thing.
"The benefits of changing it do outweigh the conservation concerns."
Plans were submitted back in February.
Entrepreneur Luke Davis intends to turn restaurants and kiosks in the area into a Rockwater Village – like the one he manages in Hove.
Speaking to the Daily Echo at the start of this year, he said: "As my passion project, I want Rockwater Village to become the heart of the community, providing a go-to venue for lifestyle and wellness events which breaks the mould of the traditional hospitality venue that Brits might have become accustomed to."
