Who won EuroMillions? Lottery results, winning numbers and previous UK winners – The Sun

THE EuroMillions jackpot of £169m was won by one lucky Brit on Tuesday, October 8 – and the winner has finally revealed themselves.

Here's what we know about the results and previous winners as the latest punter is catapulted into the ultimate life of luxury.

What were Tuesday's EuroMillions results?

One lucky Brit has made history by winning the biggest ever EuroMillions jackpot of £169million after matching all five numbers and Lucky Stars.

The October 8 National Lottery EuroMillions draw had winning numbers: 7, 10, 15, 44, 49 and the Lucky Stars: and 12. The Millionaire Maker Selection winner is: VWKQ23585.

Euromillions.com reported: "A EuroMillions player in the UK has pocketed £169million after matching all the winning numbers on Tuesday 8th October."

National Lottery operator Camelot said there have been four UK jackpot winners in 2019, receiving £350million between them.

Who was the last EuroMillions winner in the UK?

The October 8 winning ticket was the fourth time the EuroMillions jackpot has gone to the UK in 2019.

In June, one lucky ticket holder, who chose to remain anonymous, became one of the UK’s biggest ever winners after scooping a £123million jackpot.

Another anonymous ticket-holder won £35.2million in April and a month before that Ade Goodchild, from Hereford, banked £71million.

Just one lucky ticket matched all the numbers to scoop the £114.9million in the New Year's Day EuroMillions jackpot in 2019.

Frances and Patrick Connolly, from County Armagh in Northern Ireland, celebrated the (extremely) lucky dip win with a cup of tea, after first thinking it was a scam.

Their exact prize pot was £114,969,755.70 making the couple the fourth-largest lottery winners in the country.

The generous pair – a retired teacher and businessman – said one of the first things they did was sit down and write a list of 50 people they want to share the money with.

How can I check if I've won the EuroMillions?

You can check results for any draw in the last six months at the National Lottery's Check My Numbers website.

Or you can go to any shop that sells Lottery tickets.

They will scan your ticket and tell you if it's a winner.
