Woman, 22, sexually assaulted on London bus as cops release CCTV image of suspect

POLICE have released a photo of the man they wish to speak to after a woman was sexually assaulted on a London bus.

The 22-year-old woman had been travelling towards central London in the early hours of the morning.

While on the bus in Lewisham, she was approached by a man who then sexually assaulted her.

Police have today released a CCTV image of the man they believe is a suspect.

The incident unfolded at around approximately 4am on Saturday November 12 on a bus travelling the N453 route.

The man got off the bus at Old Kent Road, with the junction of Kender Street, SE14.

Police are now asking anyone who recognises the man to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 quoting reference CAD 1270/12Nov.

There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
