A WOMAN and two children have been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car on the school run.
Emergency crews were scrambled to Nuneaton at around 3.30pm after the horror crash left the woman, aged in her 30s, and young boy and girl.
It is not clear how old the two youngsters are but the boy has "potentially serious injuries", police confirmed.
The woman is also feared to be severely injured, while the condition of the girl is not yet known.
Road closures are now in place with armed police on the scene as they were the nearest unit at the time of the incident.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "A child, girl, was taken to UHCW) for further treatment.
"The child, boy, he was taken to the UHCW with potentially serious injuries. The doctor from the air ambulance travelled with him.
"The adult female, who is aged in her 30s, was taken to UHCW on blue lights with potentially serious injuries. The paramedic from the air ambulance critical care team travelled with her."
Warwickshire Police are investigating the collision and would like to hear from any witnesses.
