A WOMAN has died after a fire ripped through a terrace house in east London this morning, with two others rushed to hospital.
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters were drafted in to battle the blaze in Hornchurch shortly after 4am.
London Fire Brigade said: "Part of the ground floor of a mid-terraced house was damaged by fire.
"Three people were rescued by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and all three were treated at the scene by the Brigade and London Ambulance Service crews.
"Two men were taken to hospital but sadly a woman was pronounced dead at the scene."

It took crews almost two hours to bring the fire under control.
An investigation in to the cause of the blaze has been launched.
