Adele reveals she is ‘ready to be a mum again soon’ and already has a list of baby names as she discusses children with a pregnant fan

Adele has admitted she is ‘ready to be a mum again soon’ as she spoke with fans during her Weekends With Adele Las Vegas residency show on Saturday. 

The singer, 35, who shares 10-year-old son Angelo with ex-husband Simon Konecki, excitedly revealed she already has a list of names. 

In a TikTok video shared by a concertgoer, Adele was encountered by a fan who asked her for advice regarding the name of her soon-to-arrive baby girl. 

While discussing names, the hitmaker explained that she was enthusiastic about the idea of becoming a mother-of-two in the near future.

Speaking with the fan at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, she said: ‘I really want to be a mom again soon.’

Sharing her own method of finding potential baby names, Adele added: ‘I’ve actually been writing lists. So every time I see a name that I like, I write it down in my phone.’

When asked whether she preferred Spencer or Parker, Adele revealed that her boyfriend, Rich Paul, had also been looking into baby names. 

‘I can’t say Parker because Rich likes that name!’ she exclaimed. 

Earlier this month she couldn’t hide her emotions as she helped a couple to reveal the gender of their unborn baby during her show. 

The British singer spotted a sign in the audience before accepting the request.

In a now-viral video which was shared online by the baby’s father, Adele agreed to disclose the gender of the child during her sold-out performance. 

After revealing that the parents-to-be were expecting a baby boy, Adele began sobbing and asked them to one day repay the favour to her. 

Adele’s comment sparked suggestion she is planning baby number two with her fiancé Rich Paul, as she dropped the hint that she is ready for another child.

At the beginning of the video, Adele asked the couple their names, which they told her were Shantelle and Chris, from New York. 

Shantelle, who told the performer she was 18 weeks along, impressed the star because they were able to sneak a sign in, which apparently isn’t allowed.

Adele then told them: ‘I’ve never done this before!’

Shantelle replied: ‘I’m so honoured that you’re going to do this for us. We’ve known since 12 weeks and we’ve been waiting for this moment.’

After opening the envelope, Adele announced:’ Shantelle and Chris are having a baby, boy!’

Chris began cheering and waving his arms in the air while Adele brought Shantelle in for a hug.

Adele was overcome and began crying as she shed tears of happiness for the couple.

Then she made a request of the soon-to-be parents: ‘If and when I get pregnant will you do my gender reveal?’

The hitmaker currently shares her son Angelo, 10, with her ex husband Simon Konecki.

The former couple previously began dating in 2011 and tied the knot seven years later.

Adele and her former husband, who welcomed Angelo in 2012, went on to finalize their divorce in March of 2021.

The performer moved on with Paul, and the two were first spotted with each other in July of that year.

The happy couple eventually went Instagram official with their relationship that September.

Paul, who is already a father-of-three, previously told E! News that he was open to the idea of welcoming another child into his life. 

‘As a young dad, growing a business, it was pretty tough. But now looking as an older dad, if I was to have more kids, I’m looking forward to being a different dad,’ he stated.

The sports agent also remarked that he had learned much from his days as a younger parent. 

‘I have a daughter that’s a junior in college so I was a very young dad, but now, different age, different time in my life, different position in my life. I’m really looking forward to being an older dad,’ he said.
