Alex Scott opens up to Loose Women panel
Pop star Jess Glynne’s parents are said to be “delighted she’s found love” with BBC football host Alex Scott.
The singer, 33, is said to have been secretly dating the ex-England and Arsenal footballer, 38, for the past two months and have already become serious enough for Jess to introduce her new love to her family.
“Jess’s parents have always supported her throughout her life and are delighted that she’s found love with Alex,” a family source told the MailOnline.
“They’ve met Alex and think she’s wonderful. But they realise that she’s quite a high-profile figure and are reluctant to speak too much about her and their daughter.
“Alex and Jess have been careful about rushing things but the fact that Alex has already met her parents shows you how serious they are about each other. They are very happy together.”

The pair first sparked romance rumours in July when they attended day two of Wimbledon together. The following month they were pictured enjoying each other’s company at a pub.
Last month, the couple were seen looking smitten with each other as they were all giggles and hugs as they enjoyed an al-fresco coffee date in London and also attended the Coco de Mer 2023 Icons collection launch event hosted by Helena Christensen and Charli Howard.
They were also seen at the premiere of David Beckham’s Netflix documentary on Tuesday night, although they did not pose together for photographers.
Neither has confirmed the relationship, but back in March the footballer told Grazia she was “struggling” to find a partner, which could be a man or a woman as she “never closes herself off” with dating.

“It’s really hard [to find someone] cause people have a load of preconceptions,” she told the publication.
Meanwhile Jess, who is the only British female solo artist to achieve seven No1 singles in the UK, spoke about “not putting a label” on her sexuality in 2015.
This was after confirming her album I Cry When I Laugh was inspired by her romance with the “one girl she’d ever been with”.
“People should never feel uncomfortable about who they love,” she said at the time.
