Alison Hammond hints at secret new romance as she confesses to having jiggy jigs

This Morning star Alison Hammond hinted she had a secret new boyfriend after she got candid during a recent appearance on Loose Women Live.

The star was joined by fellow TV personalities Christine Lampard , Denise Welch, Brenda Edwards, Linda Robson and Janet Street-Porter at the London Palladium for a rare live episode of the long-running chat show.

Christine, 44, cheekily asked the panel, “who’s having the most jiggy jigs?”

Alison, who recently shared a life update putting This Morning drama behind her, jokingly responded: “How’s Birmingham doing? I reckon we’re up there, I really do!”

The crowd erupted into cheers, before Alison cryptically added “well, I am!”

Alison’s apparent confession has prompted fresh speculation that she’s found love again, a few months after her split from Gardener Ben Hawkins.

Alison and Ben dated for two years between 2021 and 2023, but kept their relationship largely under wraps.

The two reportedly met when Alison hired Ben, who is a full-time landscape gardener, to transform the garden of her West Midlands mansion.

The pair were later spotted out and about together, but Alison refused to confirm the romance.

That was, until co-host Dermot O’Leary inadvertently referred to her as a “taken woman” live on air in 2022.

But Alison seemed to announce that the pair were done when she told host Holly Willoughby on an episode of This Morning that she was wearing a “single ring.”

In March, Alison joked on the show that “more people are wanting to meet people out and about and having a green ring might be a good idea, so that people know you’re single.”

Pointing to her own hand, the TV star explained “as you can see, I’ve got my single ring on.”

Before her relationship with Ben, Alison was married to a Manchester cab driver named Noureddine Boufaied, with whom she shares her 18-year-old son, Aidan.

After their divorce, Alison met a security guard, named only as Jamie, who she dated between 2014 and 2017.

In 2020, she gave love another go during a stint on reality series Celebs Go Dating – which has recently hit headlines after two contestants got involved with each other.

Despite the help of the love experts sending her on a series of dates, Alison, who shot to fame on another reality series Big Brother, struggled to find a lasting connection on the show.

She did admit to “meeting someone lovely” who was "really into" her but explained that it didn’t translate into anything long-term.
